The Live Fire Structure Training Committee at VFSB helps guide fire safety policy in Virginia through grant reviews, meetings and statewide case studies.

The committee is composed of six members. Members include: the current Chair of the Fire Education and Training Committee, a Board representative from the Insurance Industry, a member from either the Virginia Association of Counties or the Virginia Municipal League and a member from either the Board of Housing and Community Development or the general public. The Committee is responsible for assisting the Administration, Policy and Finance Committee in reviewing and analyzing the Live Fire Training Structure Grant Program.
